(formerly known as CMMUG - Charlotte Macromedia User Group)
Adobe Charlotte is a local networking and education based group for professionals (and aspiring professionals) in the web design, web development, and e-Learning industries who have an interest in the use of Adobe® enterprise solutions.
Our meetings are open to attend by all. We schedule presentations and discussions on many aspects of the internet industry, including Web Applications Design, Development, Sales, Marketing, and Project Management. We intend to maintain an environment in which knowledge of Adobe products can be shared and business connections can be made which will benefit all who are committed to their pursuit of success in the internet industry.

From Working with jQuery,
"jQuery is emerging as the JavaScript library of choice for developers looking to ease
their creation of dynamic Rich Internet Applications. As browser-based applications
continue to replace desktop applications, the use of these libraries will only continue
to grow."
We previously talked about Spry CRUD, which uses the Adobe Spry library to Create, Retrieve, Update and Delete.
This time we will talk about some simple commands to get started with jQuery and by the end of the night, will be posting to a database on every change instead of waiting for the submit button to be pressed.
